…. with a couple of races worth targeting at Doncaster on Sunday….
…. the Pertemps Network Handicap at 2.05….
…. and the Classic Bookmaker Handicap at 4.15….

In the Pertemps – 2.05….
BRAVE NATION is the pick for me at the general 7s – with some 8s & 15/2 about this morning….
He’s up to a mark of 86 after a good August….
He won over course and distance (his third such win)….
…. and then posted another strong effort off 84 in a decent handicap at Southwell….
But let’s not forget that this is a horse that rated 97….
…. and there cold be more to come yet from the 4yo….
…. now that he’s rediscovered his mojo….
We know he likes this track….
…. and he can run a big one….

In the Classic Bookmaker – 4.15….
I’m swinging the bat at the general 12s about KNEBWORTH….
…. with some 14s & 16s about….
Returned at Haydock in August….
…. and ran an absolute belter….
…. despite running a bit keen…..
…. on quickish ground that wouldn’t have been ideal….
…. rallying really well at the death….
On ground with some juice and over a slightly longer trip than at Haydock…..
…. conditions could be something close to ideal….
