I’m on GOLDEN MUSE in the 3.35 at Doncaster – up at 9s….

I spent a long time deliberating about Ruby Wedding in tomorrow afternoon’s British Stallion Studs EBF Premier Fillies’ Handicap at Doncaster (3.35)….

…. but – in the end – I’ve remained true-to-type and rolled the dice with the one at the price – GOLDEN MUSE at the general 9s….

She returns to the track having won last time out at Kempton in June….

There’s that 93-day break from the action to factor in – her fitness level and readiness will need to be taken on trust….

…. and – of course – this will be just her second run on turf….

…. the first came at this venue in April – where she finished 3/6 and beaten 3-lengths by the winner now rated 18lb higher on 95….

She’s got it to prove….

…. but she was progressive back in the spring….

…. she’s had a bit of time….

…. she’s back at the track they give her foresight of in April (I wonder if they had this race in mind back then)….

…. and on a mark of just 84 she strikes me as a potentially well-handicapped runner at a price….
