The ATC Watch List consists of horses I believe to be well-handicapped; horses that I believe are running into peak form; and horses that have caught my eye or captured my attention for whatever reason in the races of most interest to this column (the top-end big-field handicaps). In short, horses I believe are ready to win. I keep horses on the Watch List for their next four runs – stopping at a win or the end of the season in question (whichever comes first).
