We’ve got races to target at Windsor on Sunday….
I’m on HARPERS BROOK in the 1.55 – he’s up at 13/2 ….
…. and I’m on DANS LE VENT at 14s in the 2.30….

HARPERS BROOK at the general 13/2 is the bet for tomorrow’s Fitzdares Great Park Handicap Chase at Windsor (1.55)….
Kielan Woods delivered a lovely ride to produce the 9yo at the death last time at Wetherby….
He’s not straightforward, he doesn’t do much once he hits the front, and he has to be delivered as late as possible….
…. but the tank wasn’t empty that last day and the upshot of a narrow victory is a 3lb rise that leaves him looking still well-treated on a mark of 139….
Dan Skelton’s had the horse for four races to date – and appears to have made some progress in figuring him out….
…. that last go was a joint career-best on the Racing Post rating scale and I’d expect Skelton to view that as a platform for finding additional improvement….
DANS LE VENT might be a 12yo now but he’s an interesting option in the Weatherbys Racing Bank Handicap Hurdle (2.30) at the general 14s….
He ran a cracker in third last time at Chepstow – stepped back up to the 3m trip – and was a little unlucky not to finish closer owing to a mistake at the last flight….
The form’s had just two test to date – but they were encouraging….
Fourth horse home – Phantomofthepoints – has been out and won in the meantime whilst Madaket placed last week….
What I like most about Dans Le Vent is his mark….
…. he’s down to 125 which gives him the potential to be dangerous – if he runs his race again….
He probably isn’t at his very best anymore – but he’s low enough in the rankings to produce a bigger performance than his price suggests….
