…. I bring you my best picks in Saturday afternoon’s biggest betting heats….
I’m on OOH BETTY in the 2.27 at Sandown – up at 20s….

OOH BETTY at 20s is the pick in tomorrow’s Imperial Cup at Sandown (2.27)….
…. I think she’s a good bit of value at the price….
She wasn’t unfancied when sent off at 8s for this race twelve months ago….
It didn’t work out that day – for whatever reason – but she’s enjoyed a similar build-up to last year….
…. winning the G2 mares’ hurdle last time at Ascot in January – a race she’d been third in last term….
That signalled a welcome return to something like form….
There was obviously no fundamental problem in last season’s renewal of tomorrow’s race because next time at Ayr Ooh Betty ran a cracker in the Scottish Champion Hurdle….
…. but she hadn’t run well in between times and needed to show something before she could be considered in a race like this….
They’ve got her in off the same mark as last year – 132. They liked it at the time, and I think they’ll feel the same way about it now….
I think a return crack at this race has been on the cards for a while – and I think she’s a big price….
